Atomic Public Relations has announced that it is now working with Los Angeles County Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure® as their public relations agency. The position is an ongoing one, not related to any particular milestone or event associated with the breast cancer advocate.
“Working with the Los Angeles County Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure® has been a dream come true for everyone in our office,” said Rachel Rogers, Vice President and Managing Director of Atomic PR’s Los Angeles office. “We’ve all been long advocates for the cause, so to be able to experience first-hand how our efforts are truly making a difference in raising awareness, funds and overall branding for such a prestigious non-profit in Los Angeles, has been incredibly rewarding. We look forward to our ongoing partnership with this important organization.”
Atomic will be working promotion for the breast cancer society, using social media strategies, digital video and online media relations, combined with traditional techniques of in-print PR. The public relations company will also help plan fundraising campaigns, brand awareness and aiding in the staging of many important events by the organization.
Susan G. Komen for the Cure® is a very powerful organization that unites over 1 million breast cancer survivors in the rally for a cure. With the funds raised through special events like those Atomic Public Relations will be handling, Susan G. Komen for the Cure® provides screening, diagnostics and treatment for women who can’t necessarily afford it otherwise. It is a noble cause and one that Atomic is pleased to be a part of.
