New Digital, Luxury Lifestyle ‘Magazine & TV’ to Launch

Beautiful World International is the world’s first digital, fully interactive luxury lifestyle magazine with video content incorporating latest flip-page, 3D-technology. ‘It’s a magazine people can watch and a TV people can read’. The magazine will launch on December 19th 2014.

The magazine is 75-pages of glossy, informative and entertaining stories with news, views and stories. The magazine is an aggregate of several key lifestyle publications rolled into one. So, rather than flicking  through magazines such as Vogue, Vanity Fair, Architectural Digest, Robb Report, Luxe, Conde Nast Traveller, why not flick through just ‘one’, Beautiful World International. The magazine will be split into 12-sections covering areas such as travel, fashion, events, shopping, property , men’s grooming, investment/finance and much more. ‘’This a very unique magazine and concept and of course I would say that but it really is because it’s full of facts and is so informative. I’m also thrilled of course to launch it here in my adopted hometown, where else but New York‘’ said Akhtar Khan, BWI’s President and Co-Founder.

BWI TV will accompany the articles that appear in the magazine and often contain features, interviews and stand- alone pieces as well as replicate many of the stories in the magazine. Reports from correspondents from around the world looking at key events or stories in their locale be it Asia, South America and Middle East. The programs will also be produced and syndicated for a global TV audience.

The magazine is aimed at 25-55 demographic with an income of between $1-$5 million dollars. The key marketplace for the magazine and TV is the U.S. as it is currently the largest single market for luxury consumer goods and services.

Beautiful World International will offer membership ‘by invitation only’ to 1500 individuals based in New York, Los Angeles and Miami outside of the subscription base. The criteria for selection is based on both income and personality. The magazine will become a definitive guide for those leading a luxury lifestyle.

The technology – the interactive 3D Flipbook software allows readers and viewers to fully interact with the digital magazine and TV. It creates the feel and look of actually flicking through a proper magazine with page turns. The magazine can be viewed from desktops, laptops, tablets or mobile devices.

Akhtar is a TV News Anchor/Host (currently working in mid-town) and Correspondent with 20 years’ experience on both sides of the camera having covered every aspect of production as well as genre including news/current affairs, business, entertainment and lifestyle. He has worked for prominent channels such as the BBC and CNBC. Akhtar is alos an Ambassador of The Princes Trust and an avid traveller (76 countries and counting). His claim to fame; dating Miss World 2000. He lists his sports as polo (horses), ski, adrenaline sports junkie and his hobbies as film, news/politics, public speaking and travel. He’s a UK citizen with a BA (Hons) in Law/Economics from University of London and recently moved to New York to launch BWI.

Mariana R. Silva-Buck, CEO and Co-Founder

Mariana R. SIlva-Buck is an author, photographer and entrepreneur. Originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, she holds a B.A. in Communication from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and currently lives in Massachusetts,USA. Mariana is currently the Brand Ambassador Brazil for the brand Prajje 1983. After the experience she decided to focus on the luxury sector, specially the emerging luxury market and started to write about fashion and affluent lifestyle. She is also the author of the new children’s book The Adventures of Zandor, a fiction book that inspires children to overcome their fears by using the power of imagination. Besides the USA, her work has also been published in Brazil with great success, earning her the indication to the title of International Correspondent Academic Member of the Sovereign Brazilian Academy of Arts of the Estate of Rio de Janeiro. She also involved with philanthropy in the USA and Brazil, she helps two non profit organizations by donating 5% of her publishing company’s profit to help their causes.
