Airline Loses Luggage of the World’s Top Luggage Tracker

Airline Loses Luggage of the World’s Top Luggage Tracker.Sometimes Airlines lose luggage.  They sure picked the wrong luggage to lose this time. Daniel Levine, founder and President of Blue Ribbon Bags, the world’s leader in tracking lost luggage, arrived in China this week but his luggage did not arrive with him.

Unfortunately for the airline, this customer was prepared.  Daniel went straight to the airline baggage claim desk to file a lost luggage claim.  When he got his file reference number to identify his lost bag, he asked the airline employee when his bags would arrive at his destination.  At no surprise to Daniel, the answer he got was, “we don’t know yet, please check in with us by phone tomorrow.”  Daniel contacted his lost baggage team with his information, and within a few minutes went back to the airline’s baggage counter with a big smile on his face.  He gave the woman behind the counter the forwarding flight his bag was on, and when it would arrive.  Needless to say, she was shocked, and told him wherever he was getting his information from was much better informed then she was.  Lesson learned; don’t check your luggage without having BRB with you.

Blue Ribbon Bags was established in 2006 as a service to track and expedite the return of undelivered luggage by the airline. For only $5, you will automatically get a Satisfaction Guaranteed Payment of $1000 dollars, per bag, if your luggage is not found within 96 hours of the your flight landing. Passengers do not require proof or receipts to prove the contents of their baggage to receive their Satisfaction Guaranteed Payment.  Payments are guaranteed and kept even if the luggage is located at any point after the 96 hour service period. The company is global, selling its product wherever airline tickets are purchased. Best of all, BRB provides real time, and significantly better updates than anyone else, including the airlines, every time there is a change to the status of the lost bags.

Mr. Levine experienced firsthand the frustration of an airline losing his bag, ironically as he flew to China to further penetrate the Asian travel market.

“The BRB team gave me exact information on where my bag was, when it would come, and even got my luggage on the last flight from Beijing to Shanghai the same night,” said Mr. Levine. “The airline just told me they did not have any information at the time, and to call back later.”

Daniel Levine slept soundly that evening, without any concern about his lost luggage.
