Glen Group has just announced their new position as Cannon Mountain’s agency of record. Cannon Mountain provides skiing and an aerial tramway that is quite the attraction during warmer months when skiing is not possible.
“Now in phase two of its expansion, Cannon is at an exciting–and critical–time in its development, With the inclusion of Mittersill, significant base lodge expansion, the improvements in snowmaking, and the approval of the Mittersill chairlift in 2010-2011, Cannon is poised to become the leading New Hampshire ski area–and we’re excited to be able to contribute to its success.” says Nancy Clark, head of Glen Group.
Glen Group, a successful PR company, will be responsible for handling Cannon Mountain’s publicity for both the ski resort and the Aerial Tramway. The firm will be working on a combination of promotional campaigns and marketing strategies for their client. They have experience working with ski hills and are looking forward to working with Cannon.
With a number of experienced team members, the PR firm will be working hard to boost public interest in the mountain. Despite seasonal interest, they will strive to bring people in for the tramway which runs during the fall, as well.
“The excitement continues to build around Cannon’s new direction, investment and expansion and we are fortunate to have Glen Group as a key partner in our continued success. Their extensive experience in ski area marketing and the travel and tourism industries will give us an edge in achieving our goals,” said Greg Keeler, director of marketing and sales for Cannon.
