Corporate Communications RFP Issued By Indian Banks Association

The Indian Banks’ Association (IBA) has issued a corporate communications RFP to invite service providers with editorial capabilities for maintaining and improving upon the quality of content, look and feel of “The Indian Banker” – the flagship monthly journal of Indian Banks‟ Association [IBA].

The chosen agency will also be required to maintain the subscription database, generate income for IBA from advertisements, maintain The Indian Banker website, and co-ordinate with the printer for timely printing and dispatching. In short, the bidder shall be the single point of contact for all matters regarding publishing, distributing, printing, popularizing and dispatching of The Indian Banker.

The Indian Banker is a monthly journal of the IBA – around 6000-7000 copies of the magazine are printed every month and distributed to top officials of banks and other financial institutions, Reserve Bank of India and the Finance Ministry.

IBA has been bringing out The Indian Banker at par with some of the international magazines and this must continue.  The chosen vendor shall prepare the general editorial content of the magazine with materials of global perspective, articles from experts including Bankers, global trends in the banking, gist of research, publications from top consultants with focus on India, case studies, interviews with experts, regulatory requirements and shall contain:

Every quarter, the Editorial Committee of IBA, consisting of senior bankers from different verticals, meet in the IBA to select articles for the forthcoming issues. The bidder shall carry out all the necessary actions to increase domestic and international publicity for the magazine, and distribution of copies at major national/international banking events.
