Florida Virtual School issues RFP

Florida Virtual School has issued an RFP for an agency to perform Marketing and Creative Services.

Florida Virtual School is a statewide public school district providing elementary, middle and high school courses to Florida residents. All of our courses are fully online. FLVS (the district) is accredited as a system by Advanced Education, Inc. (AdvancedEd) and various FLVS schools are accredited by SACS CASI (Southern Association of College and Schools Council on Accreditation and School Improvement). Our courses meet the Florida Standards. As a school of choice, all public institutions within Florida must provide Florida families the option to choose FLVS for their courses.

FLVS Global was created in 2000 by the Florida Legislature as the national and international arm of FLVS, As a not-for-profit institution, FLVS reinvests revenue from FLVS Global into the research and development of new educational technologies and the creation of the highest-quality courses, benefiting students in Florida and beyond.

Scope of Work

Digital Advertising Requirements

· Respondent has proven experience and resources to provide search engine marketing campaign strategy, creation, monthly reporting, and monitoring.

· Respondent has proven experience and resources to provide social media advertising, campaign strategy, creative, mid and end campaign reporting, and monitoring.

· Respondent shall provide Social Media reports to FLVS weekly or on an as needed basis.

· Respondent shall provide and support additional online advertising strategies and solutions.

· Respondent will provide summary reports as needed upon request

Social Media Requirements

· Respondent has proven experience in a variety of social channels.

· Respondent has experience in providing strategy and engagement suggestions for social media.

· Respondent shall provide Social Media reports to FLVS weekly or on an as needed basis.

· Respondent has adequate available resources to support the creation and posting of content and to monitor FLVS social media activity.

· Respondent will provide summary reports as needed upon request.

Media Research Planning & Buying Requirements

· Respondent has relationships, expertise, and ability to negotiate cost effective media solutions on behalf of FLVS. Respondent must be able to purchase and place both traditional and digital media.

· Respondent has knowledge and expertise of Florida DMAs (Designated Market Area).

· Respondent has access to media channel demographic information as well as internal expert resources to provide strategic guidance.

· Respondent has adequate resources to explore and suggest new media channels and advertising opportunities.

Branding and Creative services Requirements

· Respondent has expertise and resources to aid in FLVS branding strategy including creative strategies, positioning strategies, and messaging strategies.

· Respondent has the ability to provide creative, original concepts and storyboards.

· Respondent has the expertise and resources to execute print, broadcast, mobile, outdoor, online, and other advertising. This includes file set-up and delivery.

· Respondent has the expertise and knowledge to execute professional video and audio recording and editing services.

Public Relations Requirements

· Respondent has the expertise and knowledge to create and implement a media strategy plan and aid in proactive public relations efforts.

· Respondent has a press release distribution provider method/software/subscription tool. Respondent has a writer on staff as well as relationships and/or expertise necessary for media pitching within all business sectors.

· Respondent has proven experience in crisis management. Respondent must be able to issue and handle local, regional, and national communication efforts associated with a large crisis campaign.

· Respondent has experience and resources necessary to aid in creating and implementing a strategy that will position FLVS as a thought leader.
