Hilton Worldwide Appoints New Executive VP of Corporate Communications



Kathryn Beiser is the new executive vice president of corporate communications of Hilton Worldwide. In this role she will oversee global external and internal communications and corporate responsibility, and she will report to Hilton Worldwide’s president and chief executive officer, Christopher J. Nassetta. Kathryn Beiser will also join the company’s executive committee.

Before coming to Hilton Worldwide, Kathryn Beiser was the VP of corporate communications at Discover Financial Services, a direct banking and payment services company. Here she was responsible for internal and external communications, executive communications, issues management, corporate responsibility and reputation strategy. Before that, Beiser worked for 20 years at some of the world’s leading public relations agencies, including Burson-Marsteller, GolinHarris and Hill and Knowlton. As a managing director of Burson-Marsteller’s corporate practice, Beiser was responsible for agency business development and served as a senior communications counselor to many companies in different fields. Moreover, Beiser ran one of the firm’s largest accounts worldwide for a period of eight years.

Beiser will be based in Hilton Worldwide’s global headquarters in McLean, Va. Hilton Worldwide is already renowned for its lodging services varying from luxurious full-service hotels and resorts to extended-stay suites and mid-priced hotels.
