Eros International Announces Release of Sajid Khan’s Housefull [images]

In news from Bollywood today, Eros International has announced the release of the much awaited romantic comedy Housefull.  The film, directed by Sajid Khan and starring Akshay Kumar, is  set to open in theaters worldwide on April 3oth. Producer Sajid Nadidwala’s once again brings together a star studded cast in the romantic comedy genre to tickle audiences with his unique brand of chaotic irony.

Housefull’s cast also includes; Lara Dutta, Deepika Padukone, Jiah Khan, Arjun Rampal, Ritesh Deshmukh & Boman IraniLara Dutta, Deepika Padukone, Jiah Khan, Arjun Rampal, Ritesh Deshmukh, and Boman Irani. A superb soundtrack along with a predicatble but workable story line, promises plenty of laughs and toe tapping musical rhythm.  Everthing PR obtained exclusive stills of the handsome cast (below), but the film synopsis follows.

Housefull’s  lead character, Aarush – the world’s unluckiest man, has somehow come to be jinxed.  He believes his bad luck will vanish however, if he finds true love. In this stumbling quest for true love, one lie leads to another, as different people from all walks of life come together entwined in the comic confusion and errors of our heroe’s quest. Just like in real life, love is sometimes unpredictable.

The great soundtrack and beautiful cinematography are enhanced by one of the most attractive casts thrown together in some time, make for an entertaining film if simply for aesthetics and the tunes. Knowing Eros’s offerings, and the work of Sajid Khan, Housefull  promises a lot more than that however.  Theaters should be full too. We will try and set up some interviews and special looks at the film before its release, but for now check out the stunning cast.
