HPRA Seeks PR and Journalism Nominations

Hispanic Public Relations AssociationEntries for the Hispanic Public Relations Association (HPRA) PRemio Campaign Awards are now being accepted through Friday, August 3. HPRA is seeking nominations for leading industry professionals and the best public relations campaigns targeting the Hispanic market.

The awards cover categories across multiple industries including: Technology; Healthcare; Fashion & Beauty; Food & Beverage; Public Education; Sports; Media Event; Crisis Management; Integrated Marketing Communications; Non-Profit; and Digital Public Relations Programs (Social Media). Submissions must have been completed between June 1, 2011, and June 1 and require an entry fee of $100 for members and $200 for non-members.

Award nominations will be accepted from any public relations, advertising, marketing agencies, corporations, non-profit organizations and/or practitioners who practice in the United States, including Puerto Rico, and work on public relations/communications projects/campaigns engaging Hispanic/Latino audiences across the country. An unaffiliated panel of communications experts will judge campaigns.

HPRA is also accepting nominations to honor professionals in four categories: Journalist of the Year, Public Relations Professional of the Year, Young PR Professional of the Year, and Corporation of the Year. Individual category nominations will be accepted through July 20.

Campaigns and professionals of the year will be recognized at the 28th Annual PRemio Awards & Scholarship Gala, October 4 at Cicada Restaurant & Lounge in Los Angeles.
