DAS Group of Companies Appoints New CFO

One of the Omnicom Group divisions, the DAS Group of Companies (DAS) just made Robert B. Lorfink their global CFO. Lorfink has been with Omnicom in various capacities. Most recently, he served as CFO of the Americas for DAS and before that was chief operating officer and president of Ketchum. Lorfink’s immediate supervisor remains John C. Doolittle, COO and President of DAS, but he will also work with Dale A. Adams, DAS CEO and chairman. He will be leading efforts for profitable growth working on client-and-talent-centric planning.

New Global Managing Director at FleishmanHillard

Mike Cearley was the former Sr. VP and Sr. Partner of global social strategy and consumer engagement at FleishmanHillard (FH), leading the American South region of the company from his Dallas base. He’s now been promoted to global managing director of social and innovation. He’ll be in charge of FH’s social leaders worldwide and will help form the company’s “global social POV.” His other duties will include working with social influencers, clients, and partners to deepen and develop relationships, as well as talent acquisition, and overseeing their FH Lab — a workshop where employees learn to create new and better social media connections and posts.

Glover Park adds Carolyn Gluck as Senior Advisor

Glover Park, just added a new Sr. Advisor in Carolyn Gluck. Gluck’s previous work efforts include being a senior policy advisor for Nevada Sen. Harry Reid (D) while he was Senate Minority Leader for a decade. She dealt with healthcare appropriations and reproductive policy as well as public health issues. She also was the legislative assistant and deputy legislative director for the Senator. Gluck’s new position with Glover Park Group keeps her in DC working in the lobbying giant’s Health and Wellness division. She will share her expertise in legislative and strategic political counsel.

New Website, Managing Director, and Sr. Account Exec for KCD PR

San Diego-based fintech, financial services, and high-tech PR firm, KCD PR, is keeping busy and moving forward. They’ve just launched a new website, hired a new senior account executive/managing director — and to top it off, brought in four new enterprise clients. The new site was built with the help of Diseño Communications. KCD will introduce a newsletter as well, “Wonders & Blunders.” They’ve had a lot of growth so far this year, adding Wall & Broadway consultancy to their group, and four new clients, TwinRock Partners, James Mapes, Brain Corporation, and 1st Global.
