RadioShack Corp. is searching for a new creative agency of record for the US market. The company appointed Select Resources International (SRI) to review candidates and select the world-class agency capable of delivering transformational creative concepts needed by RadioShack. The review process commences immediately, and candidates may contact SRI directly at 310.450.5777.
Butler, Shine, Stern and Partners (BSSP) of Sausalito, Calif, the creative advertising agency of record for RadioShack since April 2009, is also expected to participate in the review process. However, the company will no longer be RdaioShack’s AOR:
“Although our brand transformation is far from complete, the needs of the business and demands of the competitive and macroeconomic landscape require a different approach to our creative strategy and execution,” said Lee D. Applbaum, executive vice president and chief marketing officer for RadioShack Corp.
The new AOR will be in charge of strategic and creative development across all marketing channels, including digital, social, mobile, broadcast and print media. RadioShack expects to appoint its creative agency of record.
