MSLGROUP Names Stephanie Agresta Global Director and Leader of Social Media and Digital



stephanie agresta MSLGROUP has appointed Stephanie Agresta global director and leader of social media and digital, based in North America. Reporting to Renee Wilson, president of MSLGROUP North America, Agresta will collaborate with leaders across MSLGROUP’s global network on social and digital aims, strategy and talent. A noted thought leader in digital and social media for more than 15 years, Agresta is poised to drive business growth, overseesing social and digital tools, processes and services across North America.

Wilson recognizes Agresta’s appointment as an important step forward for the company:

Agresta began her career with iVillage.com, and went on to found Stephanie Agresta Consulting, a digital marketing firm partnering digital thought leaders and emerging technology companies. Agresta has also been instrumental in developing digital and social media campaigns for such major brands as Samsung, Unilever, PepsiCo, Microsoft, HP and P&G. She was also EVP of Digital Strategy and Social Media for Porter Novelli prior to joining MSLGROUP.

In 2008 she founded “Bloggers Lounge,” a networking hub for digital media leaders at SXSW. Partnering with author and analyst, Brian Solis, she also launched the social media event brand, The TechSet. She is a noted speaker at industry events and has presented at SXSW, New Media Expo, BlogHer, PR News, WOMMA and Mashable conferences. Agresta also serves on the Board of Directors of the Social Media Advertising Consortium (SMAC).

In 2010, Agresta earned her spot on PR Week’s “40 under 40″ roster. Her first book, Perspectives on Social Media Marketing, co-authored with B. Bonin Bough, was released in October 2010.

Today is just another day for most people in the world. But 68 years ago events spiraled ever chaotically and frenzied, into a future our forefather’s could not imagine. As an American, and as a citizen of the world, Russia’s celebration of victory in World War Two today should, I am sure, be all of ours – the people of the world. The so-called Great Patriotic War the Soviet Union and Russia won, was a victory for all of us.
