The Harbor Group to Represent the Government of the Dominican Republic

The Harbor Group is located in Washington DC and has extensive experience working with embassies and other countries, as well as helping clients make government connections and providing tourism public relations as needed. U.S. Department of JusticeIn July, The Harbor Group filed registration paperwork required by the U.S. Department of Justice whenever a U.S. company will be acting as a registrant for a foreign government, organization or company. In this case, The Harbor Group has taken on a new client, the Government of the Dominican Republic. They have been dealing with the Administrative Ministry of the President, and their contact is Vice Minister, Lionel Senior Hoepelman.

A formal engagement agreement was signed by both parties on June 30, 2015, and the agreement lasts for six months, ending December 31, 2015. They will be providing communications consulting services about U.S.-Dominican bilateral relations according to the official paperwork. What that means is they will be helping the Dominican Republic’s Embassy in DC with public relations efforts dealing the U.S. media. They will also help develop a marketing strategy, establish a think tank, and bring in experts to build a better perception of the Dominican Republic with the U.S. government and its citizens.

The Harbor Group is an independent PR firm that helps their clients inform, convince, and persuade others. But, they also write, measure, organize and pitch on their client’s behalf. They report that most of their clients remain with them for a long time, so they must be doing things right. Their work for the Government of the Dominican Republic will probably focus on developing campaigns to influence policy outcomes, They provide rapid responses whenever any opponents come on the scene.
