McGrath/Power Picks up SupplyPro as Client

SupplyPro, founded in 1995 and based out of San Diego, provides inventory intelligence software for high-tech and manufacturing digital infrastructure. The company just signed McGrath/Power Public Relations and Communications (MP), a tech and consumer PR firm, as their agency of record. MP is based out of San Jose and works with many clients in the B2B and B2C tech industry. MP has been charged with external communications for SupplyPro such as strategy implementation, analyst relations, influencer relations, messaging development, traditional media relations, social media, speaking engagements, and industry awards.

MDC Partners Acquired $95 Million From Goldman Sachs

MDC Partners (MDCA) on NASDAQ has recently announced a proposed sale of Convertible Preference Shares worth $95 million to one of Goldman Sachs’ Banking Division affiliates. The deal has now been finalized. MDCA plans to pay down some existing company debt and for other general corporate ventures. Part of the deal includes Bradley J. Gross joining MDCA’s Board of Directors – now seven members strong. Gross is a managing director in the Merchant Banking Division of Goldman Sachs.

MDC Partners PR firms include Kwittken, Hunter Public Relations, Allison & Partners, Sloane & Company.

Golin’s a Hit with Romanian Bloggers

Biz magazine sends out a questionnaire annual to 80 important Romanian bloggers about the agency they enjoy working and collaborating with most. The bloggers have chosen Golin every year since 2014. Golin was also the PR agency with the most awards recently with Webstock. They also dominated the Romanian PR Awards, receiving gold in both social media and digital PR areas.
