After 6 months of working with CARFAX, Zimmerman Advertising has been named the advertising agency of record for the company. The advertising agency has been working on a project by project basis until now, but with consistently good results, they have finally been appointed the official agency of record for CARFAX.

“We are thrilled that we have been able to bring measurable success to CARFAX in a relatively short time; however, anyone that works with this agency knows that we are never content to rest on our successes,” says Jordan Zimmerman, Founder and CEO of Zimmerman. “As their Agency of Record we plan to continue to create progressive work that both raises awareness and drives behavior. We are dedicated to the common vision we share with CARFAX. Expect to see more great things coming from this important brand.”

The two companies united in December of 2008, when Zimmerman developed a new campaign for the vehicle history company, “Show Me the CARFAX”. It was a huge success and will continue through to the end of this year. While the campaign was part of what influenced CARFAX’s decision, in the end it was the retail experience that Zimmerman possessed, as well as their Brandtailing(TM) methodology, that convinced the company to go with them.

Zimmerman is one of the best global marketing and corporate communications companies in the nation and has considerable retail experience. The agency is now responsible for handling all the buying and media planning for CARFAX, including the creative side of things.

“Our relationship with Zimmerman has been all about synergy from the start,” said communications director for CARFAX Larry Gamache. “They really understand the core of our business and our commitment to helping both buyers and sellers of used cars. Their work to date has furthered our ongoing growth in the marketplace and we look forward to working with Zimmerman.”
