The Drug Information Association just announced their choice for agency of record, Clearpoint Agency. They are bringing the PR agency on board for the upcoming 45th Annual Meeting of the association in June. Clearpoint will be devising and implementing the public relations campaign for the firm`s regional marketing.
Drug Information Association plans to expand into the area of biotech and is relying on the extensive experience of their PR agency in this area to help them out. Clearpoint will be dealing with media relations, as well as handling the details of the audience expansion. The PR firm has represented the biotech industry before and is familiar with the needs and interests of the community.
“The team at Clearpoint knows the industry and has the contacts in the region that we need to publicize our annual event,” said Joe Krasowski, marketing communications manager at DIA. “We present our conferences all over the world, and when we select our regional PR teams, we don’t have time for them to become familiar with our industry. Our conferences attract thousands of people and we need executive-level experience to manage it all.”
Clearpoint Agency has years of experience in public relations for several industries including the pharma and tech industries. The firm has also won many awards for their outstanding work and has had clients featured in such prestigious publications as Washington Post, Wired and PC Magazine, among others.
