CooperKatz (CK) is an independent PR agency based in New York City; it’s celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. The company combines PR with creative services and digital efforts specializing in B2B, education and educational institutions, government, professional services, telecommunications, transportation, trade associations, consumer products and services, financial services, healthcare, trade associations, healthcare, and technology.
Leadership, Clients, and Accolades
Ralph Katz and Andy Cooper – long-time work associates — founded the agency, and though Cooper passed away in 2013, his legacy lives on in the organization. Katz is the principal at the firm, but Anne Green is the president and CEO. Katz had both advertising and PR experience before starting the company in 1996.
Green was named one of PRWeek’s 40 Under 40 in 2010 and on PRNews’ 2015 list of Top Women in PR. She got her Bachelor’s degree from Vassar and a Master’s from New York University. She serves as a guest lecturer at NYU, frequently teaching in their Continuing and Professional Studies program.
Some of the clients currently with CooperKatz include The Physicians Foundation, Volvo, Dole, ASCAP, Consumer Reports, Arctic Ease, and JP Morgan.
The company has received several awards including a SABRE Award and a PRSA Silver Anvil, as well as numerous listings with different publications as a “Best Agency to Work For” including a listing by The Holmes Report.
