Here are some of the leading independently owned PR Agencies in the United States – which are owned by Jews.
Edelman. Founder Dan Edelman launched PR agency Edelman 60 years ago in Chicago. Today, Edelman is the “world’s largest PR firm” spanning the country, coast to coast. Edelman has 14 offices nationwide as well as a vast presence on other continents with more than 65 offices globally.
Edelman PR represents clients throughout Europe and Commonwealth Independent States (CIS), Pacific Asia, the Middle East, Africa, Latin America, and Canada. The firm’s CEO, Richard Edelman has written of his pride of leading a “Jewish Family Business” – and that the firm has “values which can be defined as essentially Jewish. For my father, being Jewish meant running an ethical business at any cost.”
APCO Worldwide. For over 30 years, Washington, DC-based APCO Worldwide has provided domestic and international companies with research-based and digitally-driven PR. APCO leads many Fortune 100 companies and industry associations through the PR process of enhancing corporate reputations, managing crises and issues, and achieving public policy goals through government relations.
The firm’s founder Margery Kraus is an investor in The Teuza Fund, an Israeli technology fund, alongside Moshe Arens, Israel’s former Defense Minister and others.

Ruder Finn. Headquartered in New York, Ruder Finn is one of the world’s largest privately-held global communications agencies with over 65 years of expertise in the PR industry. In addition to having offices in NY and San Francisco, the firm has locations globally in London, China, Hong Kong, Singapore, and India.
Ruder Finn PR promotes innovation and entrepreneurialism effectively and efficiently making the firm stand out in today’s worldwide communications industry. They have long had offices in Israel, and their clients have included the Mayor of Jerusalem and the Jewish Agency.
MWW. PR agency MWW PR was founded by President and CEO Michael Kempner, in 1986. By 2011, MMW was one of the top five independently owned PR agencies in the nation. Kempner has said his world view – and deep liberal political involvement is shaped by feeling deeply Jewish, telling a publication, “I don’t think that you can be a Jew without having a worldview.

Global Strategy Group. GSG was established in 1995 by founders and principals Jonathan Silvan, Jefrey Pollock, and Jeffrey Plaut.
The trio created Global Strategy Group as a marketing research and political polling agency that has evolved into a PR and strategic communications service for national political leaders, Fortune 100 companies, and nonprofits over the past 20 years. 5WPR. Ronn Torossian formed New York’s successful PR firm, 5WPR in 2003. Makovsky. Ken Makovsky founded New York-based PR agency – Makovsky – in 1979. Having a solid office based in Washington DC, the firm has expanded substantially through its partnerships with other independent agencies in 40 cities nationwide and 30 countries globally.
The Makovsky agency was awarded 39 PR industry awards in 2014, including Agency Professional of the Year and Marketing Campaign of the Year. Makovsky is a board member of the American Jewish Committee and passionate about Jewish issues.
