Mile 9, a LA based ad agency, has been selected by the ethnic restaurant chain, Rosa Mexicano, as their new agency of record. Mile 9 will be handling the launch of the first Rosa Mexicano restaurant on the West Coast, in Los Angeles.
“We’re excited to have the brand at Mile 9, and look forward to many more successful launches across the country,” said Howard Greenstone, restaurant group COO and Partner. “The agency’s brand direction, from its creative voice to the collaborative service, has been a breath of fresh air.”
Rosa Mexicano currently has 8 restaurants going strong, all based on the East Coast from New York to Miami. The restaurant chain boasts upscale dining with a Mexican flare and is looking forward to incorporating themselves into the LA restaurant scene.
Mile 9 will be providing the creative and media tasks for the restaurant, which launches later this month. With unique campaigns such as curbside guacamole stands for taste tests and a number of other interactive options to draw public attention and catch people’s interest. They will also be leveraging business relationships to help create hype around the restaurant.
“The launch campaign targets early adopters and reflects the essence of Rosa while giving us the opportunity to showcase not only the food but the location,” added Mile 9 Chief Creative Officer Dan Dieffenbach. “Conceptually, when you find Rosa we want the result to be a memorable, authentic life experience not just a typical meal.”
Update: Mile 9 was mistakenly reported as the PR agency for Rosa Mexicano, when it is actually the agency of record. Baltz & Company is the restaurant’s PR firm. The information has been changed.
