Ogilvy Leadership Changes, and WPP Atticus Awards


Ogilvy & Mather North America and JWT North America announced important leadership level changes. Sheila Hartnett, currently the CEO of OgilvyAction North America, will become CEO of JWT/OgilvyAction, replacing Fred Bidwell, who had to retire.

Reporting directly to Hartnett are Wai-Man Leung, CFO; Scott McCallum, President, Shopper Marketing; Pam Morrisroe, Managing Director, OgilvyAction East, EVP, Experiential Marketing; Ron Magliocco, Business Development Managing Director; and Ken Madden, EVP, Head of Digital.

Global Managing Director of Ogilvy Public Relations’ (Ogilvy PR) Strategy+Planning Group, Dr. Jennifer Scott, has joined the board of directors of Single Stop USA.

Ogilvy PR Global CEO, Christopher Graves, won the 2011 WPP Atticus Grand Prix for original published thinking in branding and identity, for his chapter “Cool Is Not Enough” in the book Reimagining Japan: The Quest for a Future That Works.

In addition to winning the Grand Prix, Ogilvy brought home four wins, one commendation and four merits across multiple categories, including Shelina Janmohamed for “Ogilvy Noor Blog” in Corporate; Gareth Ellen, Orit Peleg, Martin Lange and Hugh Boyle for “Mobile and Shopping: Mobilize the Path to Purchase” in Digital Communications; and Arwa Mahdawi for Under 30 Essay.
