Develop a website, online loan application, upgraded logo, slide deck, integration of industrial properties, other collateral material including digital and print media to promote the Southeast Kentucky Economic Development Corporation
Background:
SKED is a community development organization formed in 1986 to create employment opportunities in a 45-county service area in Southern and Eastern Kentucky. It accomplishes this mission by recruiting new businesses, making direct loans, providing entrepreneurial training and technical assistance to businesses, and providing economic development services to local communities. Since its creation, SKED has secured loans and grants totaling more than $65 million, providing funding for over 250 businesses which in turn have created over 9,000 jobs throughout the region.
SKED’s mission is to improve the quality of life and vitality of our service area by promoting sustainable economic development and employment opportunities with creativity, professionalism, and integrity in collaboration with local, state, and federal partners.
Scope of Work:
The Southeast Kentucky Economic Development Corporation (SKED) is seeking to upgrade its website, branding and marketing. To make this happen we require the services of a full service marketing and branding agency to complete the following:
BRANDING & MESSAGING – To include an upgraded logo suite, slide deck, brand style guide along with the creative messaging behind this image.
WEBSITE & HOSTING – To include design & content creation, test and launch using best practice coding techniques, CMS training and quarterly updates and set time for content updates. SKED would like to be able to make most of its own changes to the website.
ON-LINE LOAN APPLICATION – Work with SKED staff and Nortridge Loan Management System to create an on-line loan application portal.
PRINT & DIGITAL DESIGN – To design new SKED marketing materials for print and digital use including: flyers, email templates and standing banners.
