The University of Wisconsin-Madison is requesting proposals for the Division of Continuing Studies hereinafter referred to as “DCS”, for the purchase of International Student Marketing and Recruitment Services.
Adult Career and Special Students Services (ACSSS), a unit within the Division of Continuing Studies (DCS) at the University of Wisconsin-Madison welcomes students and lifelong learners from around the world to participate in a diverse array of credit and non-credit programs offered at UW-Madison. These fee-charging programs include the Visiting International Student Program (VISP), the full-time intensive English as a Second Language Program (ESL), the American Culture and English Program (ACE), Capstone Certificate Programs and other customized credit and non-credit programs offered either by DCS directly or in partnership with other academic units in UW-Madison’s various Schools and Colleges. (See websites: https://continuingstudies.wisc.edu/international-students) This is an add-on to an existing RFP and is meant to diversify our current recruitment agent pool in terms of UW programs of focus, geographic areas, and target markets.
Scope of Work:
In an effort to market DCS non-credit and non-degree international programs as widely as possible around the world and to attract a diverse range of talented students, ACSSS is seeking experienced US-based and non-US based international recruiting agents. It should be stated clearly here that UW-Madison is not seeking marketing and recruitment services for its undergraduate, graduate and professional degree programs, only non-credit and non-degree programs. Services sought include marketing and recruitment efforts for specific non-credit and non-degree UW programs including: direct student recruitment through visits to educational institutions, organization of marketing events and fairs, and other outreach. Contracted agents may assist with pre-screening potential applicants for fit with different DCS programs, assisting students with application process and questions, and forwarding application materials to ACSSS staff.
