1.1 Strategic Marketing & Creative Development
- Brand strategy, competitor analysis, positioning, andcampaign ideation.
- Development of integrated marketing and communications plans.
- Creative concepts, messaging, and visual identity development.
- Market and audience insights to inform campaign design.
1.2 Above-the-Line (ATL) Advertising
Creative development and production for:
- Print (newspapers, magazines, trade publications).
- Broadcast (television, radio).
- Out-of-home (billboards, transit, airports, outdoor signage).
- Media planning and coordination with media buying partners.
1.3 Below-the-Line (BTL) Advertising
- Event branding, activations, and experiential marketing.
- Point-of-sale (POS) and retail display materials.
- Direct marketing (CRM campaigns, email, SMS).
- Promotional campaigns in partnership with influencers, trade partners, and stakeholders.
For both ALT and BLT marketing activities, the service provider must be able to work in both Wesgro’s established and emerging international markets including but not limited to China and India.
1.4 Content Creation
- Creative content development for social media platforms (static, video, motion graphics, GIFs, AI).
- Digital advertising creative (banners, sponsored posts, media partnerships).
- Interactive designs & Website creative support (landing pages, design, campaign microsites, games and search engine optimisation).
- Integration of digital campaigns with ATL and BTL initiatives.
- Translation of creative content into foreign languages, including but not limited to Mandarin.
1.5 Design & Production Services
- Design for reports, brochures, presentations, and marketingcollateral.
- Development of brand templates, toolkits, and guidelines.
- Photography, videography, animation, and post-production services.
1.6 Printing & Production Management
- Management of all print production requirements, including:
- Business stationery, brochures, and promotional material.
- Strategic Plan (SP), Annual Performance plan (APP), Annual Report (AR).
- Large-format and exhibition branding.
- Specialised packaging and branded merchandise.
- Oversight of quality control, supplier liaison, and cost optimisation.
1.7 Logistical capacity
- The successful bidder is expected to work off-site, yet provide comprehensive client-service offering, with an office in Cape Town, and be available for regular hybrid and in-person engagements.
- The successful bidder will provide files compatible with latest systems, including, but not limited to, Microsoft, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat.
- The successful bidder will also provide all open files andfinished art to Wesgro, unless otherwise agreed upon.
1.8 Project & Account Management
- Dedicated account management with clear points of contact.
- Integrated campaign management and workflow coordination.
- Regular reporting including Post Campaign Analysis report, feedback sessions, and performance reviews.
- On-time delivery within approved budgets.
