1.1.3 Purpose
The University of Maine is seeking responses to provide marketing and strategic web services as defined in this document. This document provides instructions for submitting responses, the procedure, and criteria by which the Respondent(s) will be selected, and the contractual terms which will govern the relationship between the University and the awarded Respondent(s).
Events and Hospitality is the University of Maine’s event planning and hosting department. As such they are seeking the services of a strategic partner that is experienced working with event planners in the higher education space, including the marketing of large-scale events on campus, in Maine and across the country.
These services aid in advancing UMaine’s specific goals as a research institution and also in recruitment of potential students and staff as well as partners who might become allies with the University in a variety of ways.

1.1.4 Specifications / Scope of Work
The specific services provided should include, but are not limited to, online listing in a directory specifically for event planners across the United States, specific marketing services aimed at advancing the marketing goals of Events & Hospitality (eg., video, 3-D tours, online listing featuring UMaine’s venues, graphic design, photography and email marketing, communications, consulting, and services specific to this field of business).
