Elisa Ehrlich has recently joined public relations and social media communications firm Bateman Group as account director of the Brooklyn office. Elissa brings to Bateman Group more than ten years of experience in the public relations industry with a focus on both business-to-business and consumer technology accounts.
Prior to working for Bateman, Elisa oversaw strategy and execution of public relations and social media programs for New York City-based technology specialist Affect customers, including Kony, a mobile application platform; Bug Labs, an open source device innovation platform; and Regus, a global provider of flexible workplace solutions. Before Affect, Elisa worked at Bite Communications, where, among others, she oversaw corporate and product PR and social media for Internet phone service provider Vonage; and managed PR for several divisions of Sun Microsystems (now Oracle).
“With Elissa joining our team, our East Coast and European-based clients will get more of the senior-level account involvement that’s become our hallmark. We’re also in a better position to expand our Brooklyn office through the pursuit of new business,” said Fred Bateman, CEO and founder, Bateman Group.
Elissa will work closely with Tyler Perry, vice president, in Bateman Group’s New York City offices and will oversee strategic communications programs for current clients such as Recyclebank and CoreMedia. As an account director, Elissa also joins the agency’s senior management team and will help drive marketing and new business initiatives for the agency.
