The Brookville Area Chamber of Commerce is seeking proposals from qualified web development agencies to provide professional web design and branding services. The purpose of this RFP is to solicit competitive proposals from experienced web design agencies capable of creating a visually appealing, user-friendly, and functional website that will serve as a vital resource for our members, businesses, and the community.
We invite experienced web developers to submit proposals that demonstrate your ability to meet our technical and creative needs. The website should also incorporate SEO best practices and offer robust analytics capabilities for ongoing improvement.
Key Deliverables:
Branding
Branding and logo design to represent the Brookville Area Chamber of Commerce.
Membership Directory
Easy-to-navigate directory with search and filter functionality.
Each member should have a dedicated profile page showcasing their business information, contact details, photos, map, and services.
Community Calendar
A dynamic calendar displaying events hosted by both the Chamber and member businesses.
Each event should have a dedicated landing page showcasing details of the event, contact information, photos, map, and ticket information with online payment processing.
Users should be able to filter by event type and subscribe to event notifications.
Integration with Google Calendar and other platforms is preferred.
Blog
A blog section for Chamber announcements, member spotlights, and community stories.
Social media sharing buttons and an easy-to-use content management system for blog updates.
Membership Application
An online membership application form that allows for easy submission and payment processing.
Automated email notifications confirming the application receipt.
SEO & Analytics
Incorporation of SEO best practices to ensure high visibility on search engines.
Integration of Google Analytics or similar tools for tracking website traffic, user behavior, and engagement.
SEO optimization for all pages, with meta tags, alt texts, and keywords for each section.
Responsive Design
The website must be fully responsive, functioning seamlessly across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
Security
Ensure the website is secure and compliant with current data protection standards.
Include SSL certificates and any necessary firewalls or security protocols.
Scope of Work:
Develop a modern, visually appealing website that aligns with the mission of the Brookville Area Chamber of Commerce.
Provide user-friendly content management tools that allow Chamber staff to update the site.
Ensure fast loading speeds and reliable hosting services.
Offer training for Chamber staff on website management, SEO, and analytics usage.
Design a logo and branding to represent the Brookville Area Chamber of Commerce and new website.
Proposal Submission Requirements:

Support & Maintenance: Outline post-launch support options, including training, troubleshooting, and long-term maintenance plans.
