BOSPAR PR PRECOGNITIVE

bospar pr

When David Bednar, prophet, seer, revelator and former president of Brigham Young University-Idaho said “people of integrity and honesty not only practice what they preach, they are what they teach,”  little did he know then that it would be synonymous with Bospar, the popular boutique agency that has taken the tech PR world by storm in five short years. Bospar was launched on January 1, 2015 by tech PR veterans, Chris Boehlke and Custis Sparrer and gained instant fame because it was initially virtual. When it became apparent that their virtual model could only take them so far, the founders decided to also open up physical locations.

Today, Bospar serves clients in 15 locations, including London, Israel, Hong Kong, India, Norway and Sweden.  In the U.S., Bospar has a presence in San Francisco, New York, San Diego, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Houston, Chicago and the Washington, D.C. area.

IT’S WORK

Bospar focuses its client efforts in three areas – PR, content and social.  PR includes everything from media and presentation training to crisis communications as well as influencer relations, SEO backlinking programs, and bloggers.  Content is also diverse, providing media and corporate backgrounders, videos, press releases, and blog posts.  Every aspect of social marketing, including influencers and content curation makes up the social category. As a leader in the PR tech world, many of Bospar’s are well known, including Symantec, Tetris, Polycom, PayPal, Cisco, Dolby, Apigee, Cambium Networks, Electronic Arts, and Ebates to name a few.

BOSPAR PR RECOGNITION

In its short but productive life, Bospar has already amassed volumes of recognition and awards.  In both 2018 and 2019, Bospar was named Outstanding Boutique PR Agency by PRWeek.  The weekly PR business publication also selected Bospar as a finalist for its 2020 Outstanding Small Agency award.Another PR publication, the Bulldog Reporter, has heaped lots of awards on Bospar as well.  In its 2019 Bulldog Awards program, the firm received gold and silver medals for Most Innovative Media Campaigns.  Bulldog gave Bospar eight awards in 2018.In 2018, Bospar was named a top place to work by PR News.  The agency received a gold medal in 2019 for its “Say San Francisco” campaign and also teamed up with actor George Takei and the House of Cats app to win a silver award from the 2019 Muse Creative Awards.

Tom Carpenter, another principal at Bospar, explained that the reason the agency has received numerous awards besides those already mentioned is “due to the fantastic partnership of our colleagues and our clients.”

HELP NEEDED

Because of its ongoing successes and growth, the future is bright and Bospar is constantly on the lookout for experienced professionals who are dedicated to sharing their digital and traditional tech experience with clients. One of the reasons Bospar received a top place to work award is because of its culture.  Not only does the agency promote and pursue diversity in its workplace by hiring professionals from a variety of ethnic groups, but the LGBT community is also included as well.

Bospar also participates in the community and is active with groups like the National Hispanic Journalists Association, National Lesbian Gay Journalists Association and Afrotech, an association of Black techies, entrepreneurs and startups.
