Marketing RFP Issued for the New Regional Economic Development Website

The Cariboo Regional District wishes to retain an experienced, qualified contractor to implement on online marketing campaign to promote the new regional economic development website to investors and job seekers. The ultimate goal is to fill current labour market gaps.

These labour gaps are identified as high priorities in the “Local Action, Collective Impact… 2020-2025 Labour Market Strategy for the Cariboo Chilcotin Region” produced by MDC Insight and can be found at https://www.cariboord.ca/en/business-and-development/labour-market-study.aspx.

Deliverables

What:

a) Attract skilled workers to regional labour market opportunities,

b) Attract potential business owners to regional opportunities,

c) Attract remote workers and entrepreneurs to the region,

d) Strengthen and showcase quality of life.

How:

a) Guiding in house (CRD) team to develop ads with knowledge of best practice for each channel,

b) Create and execute a blended targeted marketing to attract investors and job seekers from BC, Alberta, Ontario, and Quebec,

c) Geotargeted digital campaign focused on labour gaps, lifestyle, and interests to best attract populations that are attracted to Cariboo lifestyle and will benefit the regional labour market,

d) Continuous monitoring and amending campaigns based on engagement,

e) Supplying the CRD with analytics for better understanding of our market.

When:

a) March 11 – 25, 2022, work with CRD to advise on content creation,

b) April 2022, run a minimum of a short-term campaign.
