The City of Aurora Water Department has a growing need for a media monitoring and analytics solution to track and report mentions with traditional and digital news media, social media and other public forums. This includes local, regional, national and international media. Critical to this need is the ability to monitor these media mention real-time or near-real-time, to generate multiple reports based on multiple parameters, and analyze the reach, including additional mentions generated by initial story, as well as the spread geographically of the mentions. The ability to analyze the impact of these mentions is critical, including media market data and demographics, sentiment of the story (positive or negative) and dollar impact utilizing market advertising rates or other relevant metrics.
