Fields, a corporate communications professional with nearly two decades of experience in multiple industry disciplines, was a co-founded Oxbow Media, which specializes in multimedia communications strategies including digital, online media, and large-scale events. The new Edelman chief had this to add about her new position:

Experience wise, Fields served at Ernst & Young Management Consultancy in their global Financial Services practice, prior to co-founding Oxbow. Robert Holdheim added this comment on Fields’ hiring:

Additionally, Fields is a studied master practitioner of Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), as well as a student of emotional intelligence and leadership development, among other cutting edge industry practices. Fields has worked in the US, Australia, and in the UK and she holds a degree in Business and Tourism from the University of Ulster. Fields has lived in Abu Dhabi since August 2012, where she lives with her husband.
