The Board of Regents of the University of Oklahoma is seeking: Vendors to provide a comprehensive, strategic, creative dynamic effort to provide world class communications with the implementation of new projects and services, including: marketing, media and public relations, web communications and interactive/social media.
Scope of Work:
The successful vendor(s) shall:
i. Be a full-service communication company or boutique agency with an
expertise in a particular communication field and provide documented indepth knowledge and extensive experience in working with local, regional,
and national markets.
ii. Designate a principal to coordinate all work with University for all assigned
projects.
iii. Duties and responsibilities may include the development, design, execution
and production of one or more of these projects throughout the defined
timeline and ongoing communication needs of University. There will be small
and large scale projects varying in scope, strategic and creative needs and
program requirements.
iv. Specific project activities may include some or all of the following:
1. Local, Regional, National and International Campaigns
2. Public and Media Relations Campaigns
3. Production Management
4. Building Social Media Presence
5. Special Event/Conference Planning
6. Trade Show Planning
7. Branding
8. Connection with press and media
9. Copy Writing and Editing
10. Digital Marketing
11. Market Research / Focus Groups
12. Media Planning / Buying / Tracking / Analysis
13. Web / Interactive Design
14. Social Media Campaigns
15. Annual Report
16. College/Program Brochures
17. Targeted Degree / Course Market Research
18. Targeted Interactive Presentations and Overviews
19. Web Marketing
20. Strategic Marketing Planning
21. Relationship Marketing
22. New Business and Media Opportunities
23. Video Services

e. Each project award will be based on the scope, skills and costs, time estimate and
strategic and creative development. All graphics must follow the OU Online brand
platform and the University of Oklahoma style guide.
f. Location of project performance will be determined at project award.
g. Skills
i. A documented history of successful experience and knowledge in
university/college engagements/projects similar size and stature of
UNIVERSITY.
ii. The ability to provide continuity of service throughout the duration of
engagements/projects.
iii. A demonstrated appreciation of the University of Oklahoma’s budgetary
controls with specific emphasis on controlling scopes and timelines of
engagements/projects.
