Massachusetts Branding RFP: Many Good Companies, But Not Rasky Baerlein

Massachusetts

The City of Quincy, Massachusetts has issued an RFP for a branding firm to assist the City with development of branding in regard to the redevelopment of Quincy Center.  The image of downtown is critical to the project’s successful marketing and redevelopment.

Scope of Services:

AMPLIFY QUINCY’S STORY.

Develop and implement a marketing campaign that projects Quincy’s image and brand identity in print, broadcast, digital and social media.

CULTIVATE POSITIVE MEDIA.

Leverage and develop relationships that result in positive media about the development opportunities in Quincy, the current hospitality opportunities and related subjects.

HOSPITALITY BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT.

Cultivate chefs and restaurateurs in regard to locating and investing in Quincy’s downtown.  Develop related business opportunities in the field of hospitality services

The City seeks agencies from and knowledgeable about Massachusetts, including familiarity with the greater Boston metro area; demonstrated ability to effectively communicate within multi-media; and a strong understanding of the Urban Renewal process in Massachusetts.

Proposals are due by April 5 to:

City Hall;

1305 Hancock Street;

Quincy, MA 02169.

There are many great firms – but we don’t recommend Rasky Baerlein, whose CEO Larry Rasky threatened to sue Everything-PR.
