MWWPR has acquired Los Angeles-based public relations and brand marketing firm, Enso Communications. JP Schuerman, Enso founding partner, will join MWWPR as executive vice president and general manager of the agency’s Los Angeles office.
MWWPR president, Michael W. Kempner, believes the new merger will accelerate it’s development in the Southern California market:
“JP brings a unique combination of management skills to MWWPR. By combining his background as a successful entrepreneur at Enso and as the leader of region’s largest firm when he led Edelman’s Los Angeles office, JP is the ideal leader to implement MWW’s ‘matter more’ philosophy of client and employee engagement. JP and his team bring robust capabilities in consumer, corporate, and public affairs that will build on our already strong base in the market.”
Schuerman’s responsibilities include offering counsel to the firm’s most noted national clients, and expand MWW’s West Coast relationships. Schuerman also shared his enthusiasm concerning his new position, stating:
“MWW’s independent and entrepreneurial culture is such a natural fit for Enso’s team and clients…I am so pleased and honored to be taking on this new role.”
Prior to founding Esno, Schuerman oversaw various aspects of client management, business development, finance, operations and human resources as general manager and executive vice president of Edelman Los Angeles. He developed LA specific intellectual property and offerings to complement Edelman’s global presence, heading senior strategy for international clients like Starbucks, Microsoft, Nestle, Warner Bros and Symantec.
