Several promotions and notable movements amongst public relations professionals have been made in recent days. In the ever-evolving PR universe, it’s imperative to have a strong core of professionals at the helm, and several accomplished leaders will be embracing new roles.
Finn Partners
FINN Partners, which is continually expanding, recently announced the promotion of Kristie Kuhl, JD, from senior partner to managing partner. Kuhl will be overseeing the New York and Chicago Health arms of FINN Partners as well as the US Pharma Team. FINN Partners, a forward thinking firm, has applauded Kuhl’s accomplishments and her dedication to their core values of innovation and collaborative partnerships. Kuhl was also named as one of the inspirational leaders of the health industry in 2017 by PM360 magazine. Kuhl joined the team at FINN Partners in 2015 with a strong background with other firms in patient advocacy and the US reimbursement system.
Marina Maher Communications
Another firm, Marina Maher Communications (MMC), has announced the promotion of Gretchen Ramsey to Managing Director of Brand Engagement. Ramsey formerly served as a content strategist and will now oversee the expansion of MMC’s digital content and media presence, among other responsibilities. Ramsey will be part of the executive leadership team, reporting directly to CEO Marina Maher. With MMC’s dedication to its roster of healthcare, corporate and consumer clients, Ramsey will be able to employ her growth mentality to a team of about 40 people.
Driven by the “power of influence,” MMC hopes to tap into Ramsey’s previous experience as senior Vice President of Content Strategy at Blue 449. Ramsey has a strong background spreading brand influence across channels and has been dedicated to the concept of growth from the ground up.

This hiring is an indication of MWWPR’s dedication to efforts in data, research, and analytics efforts. “Data, analytics, research and insights are some of the most important aspects of our industry and our business,” CEO Michael Kempner stated in a release. “It is an area we continue to invest heavily in – and believe in greatly. With Orin joining an already skilled team, we will continue to advance our clients’ business objectives through data and insights.”
