In spite of a slow economic recovery, and the looming possibility of China’s economic crash, many companies did more than just survive the year – they thrived. In public relations,
Zimmerman, Next Fifteen, MSLGroup, and Porter Novelli have started of the year with roaring success.
Zimmerman Wins New Account with Restaurant Chain
Florida based Zimmerman PR & advertising started 2016 with a bang, after closing out the prior year with a dozen new accounts in its portfolio. This achievement made 2015 the most successful year in the agency’s history, and it wasn’t by chance. The firm says it refocused energies on improving its talent base, built a stronger corporate culture, and fine-tuned its retail strategy to attract new clients.
Adding to this success, the Zimmerman Agency just became the AOR for Smokey Bones. The chain owns 67 restaurants spread across 16 states with plans for further expansion. Backed by parent company, Omnicom Group, Zimmerman opens Smokey Bones up to a vast international network as it pursues bigger growth options.
Next Fifteen Still Growing
Zimmerman isn’t the only one who closed out 2015 with roaring success. Next Fifteen also had a fabulous year thanks to a boost from continued growth in the U.S. and U.K. markets. The firm expanded by acquiring ODD Communications in December, an independent creative agency.
These big moves and achievements earned Next Fifteen an impressive $169 million in revenue showing a 19 percent growth over the 11 months measured. The company expects further growth and revenue as it plans further acquisitions moving forth.
MSLGroup Takes over Sister Company
Leading communications firm MSLGroup recently announced its takeover of sister firm, Arc PR Sri Lanka. Both firms operated as offshoots of the Publicis Groupe, but Arc PR Sri Lanka will now manage operations in Sri Lanka on behalf of MSLGroup. To this end, the newly rebranded firm operates as MSLGroup Sri Lanka retaining its current team members, and team lead.
In 2015, Arc PR Sri Lanka earned the title of 2015 South Asia PR Agency of the Year, from the Campaign Asia-Pacific Awards. This shows the firm’s stamp on the market, as did its impressive clientele including Coca-Cola, Samsung, and People’s Bank.
