TNS is looking for marketing partners who can transform established thinking and inspire messaging and strategies that will motivate travel to Nova Scotia and encourage visitor spending to contribute to the $4 billion goal. A critical aspect to achieving success will be to develop a strategic marketing plan that highlights Nova Scotia’s competitive advantages. This will allow Nova Scotia to maximize its marketing opportunities by leveraging trade and industry partnerships. Demonstrated performance and Return on Investment (ROI) will be a key component to decision-making. TNS is looking to select marketing partners who will create an innovative and integrated approach to meeting its marketing objectives. Scope of Work:
TNS is looking to select marketing partners who will create an innovative and integrated approach to meet TNS’s primary objective of doubling tourism revenues by 2024. The RFP is structured to be flexible and responsive to market demand to enable the best in-class marketing partnerships.
The successful proponent(s) will understand the science of big data, tease out actionable insights and employ tactics to deliver compelling brand experiences to the chosen targets and markets. Decisions regarding strategy, objectives, targets and tactics will be grounded in evidence-based thinking.
Proposals can be submitted for any or all of these lines of business areas:
A. Brand Marketing (Strategic Planning, Brand Management & Creative Services)
B. Media Planning and Buying
C. Digital Marketing (Digital S trategy, Creative and Technical Development and Execution)
In accordance with the evaluation process, TNS will form a separate agreement for each line of business, with a possibility of up to three (3) successful proponents in total, to ensure the approach presented will result in better quality service, stronger expertise, and greater in-market intelligence while balancing an efficient administrative fee structure. TNS also encourages innovation through subcontracting arrangements to meet our requirement of best-in-class service providers. We will evaluate such arrangements to obtain assurance of fit, management, and alignment with TNS’ goals and objectives.
