Whitegate PR Lands McMillian + Furlow

McMillian + Furlow, a design service based in Brooklyn, that helps clients to develop comprehensive marketing strategies that encompass branding, interactive and social media; has hired Whitegate PR as AOR for public relations. The agency will develop for McMillian + Furlow a media relations programs focused on multifaceted marketing and strategic public relations campaigns effective in reaching target audiences.

This is not exactly a match made in heaven, as the main specialty of Whitegate PR is the pet industry, and the contract with McMillian + Furlow has a different target audience. However, Whitegate PR has grown a lot since opening in 2009, and former “Miss Can Diego” Dana Humphrey has shown that she has an ace or two up her sleeve since.

McMillian + Furlow is an even younger company, created in 2010 by a group of marketing and advertising veterans. Their expertise spans back to 1999, as the awards page shows. Whitegate PR was just the missing link, the force that will perhaps power the PR branch of the company.
