Title: SaskPower Advertising Services Competition
Scope: The Government of Saskatchewan is seeking an experienced advertising partner to provide communications and marketing services for SaskPower.
Established in 1929, SaskPower is Saskatchewan’s leading energy supplier. We are defined by our commitment to support the province’s economic growth and enhance the quality of life of its people. Our corporate mission: ensuring reliable and affordable power for our customers and the communities we serve. SaskPower’s team is made up of over 3,200 permanent full-time employees. We manage over $14 billion in generation, transmission, distribution and other assets.
SaskPower has customers cross all demographics and live in all regions of the province. We require a full-service agency to support our goals as we work to continue providing reliable, affordable power for our province and its people.
Interested suppliers must demonstrate professional experience in:
•Influencing behaviour change with a large segment, or segments, of Saskatchewan-based customers.
•Making an emotional connection with disengaged or low-invested audiences
•Successfully increasing reputation or brand strength
The account is for one year with the opportunity to renew for five additional one-year terms. Any renewal will be subject to yearly client/supplier evaluations and mutual agreement. Renewals are authorized by Communications Services, Executive Council.

Companies interested in pursuing this account should submit a brief letter of intent (not exceeding two pages). The letter should specifically articulate why your experience and capabilities relative to the criteria above make your firm the best choice for this account. Please include two client references who can speak to your ability in the criteria above. Also, bidding firms must identify any intent to use subcontractors, and include a description of the scope of services. From the responses, a shortlist of firms will be developed. These firms will be asked to prepare a proposal and may be asked to demonstrate their capability in an in-person presentation to a selection panel.
