Mangalindan already delivered results in media and influencer relations, crisis communications, internal communications, industry analyst relations and digital communications, and she has a broad expertise in corporate reputation management and brand communications.
“Mylene will bring an incredible depth of media relations expertise to the team in San Francisco,” said Turner. “She has been both a journalist and an in-house communications professional, providing her with a unique understanding of how to build and deliver impactful and resonant communications programs. Her experience and visibility in the marketplace will provide significant value to our existing clients and help to open new doors for H+K.”
In the past, Mangalindan managed public relations and internal communications at Rearden Commerce as vice president of corporate communications. Prior to that, she was responsible for financial communications, crisis management, corporate positioning, and press and media relations as director of corporate communications at Hewlett Packard. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California at Berkeley and a Master’s of Science in Journalism from Northwestern University.
“I am excited to join the H+K San Francisco team and to help their clients and teams take their communications programs to a higher level,” said Mangalindan. “Media relations continues to be a fundamental skill that only grows in importance in an era where information is disseminated so quickly and news cycles run around the clock. We strive to be trusted advocates for our clients in this significant area.”
