FleishmanHillard Taps Dianna Kraus to Head Updated Sports Practice
FleishmanHillard have now announced that Dianna Kraus, a veteran of the company will be taking the role of global managing direct for the recently relaunched sports sector of the firm. Kraus is also a senior partner and senior VP for FleishmanHillard and has helped with leading multiple global communication strategies for clients over the years in the technology, financial services and automotive spaces.
Kraus will be working alongside a selection of newly-designated regional leaders, including her senior partner and senior VP colleague Steve Hickock, leading the Americas, Suki Zhao who is responsible for leading Asia, and Chris Gratton heading Europe.
Ruder Finn Announces New Senior Hires
Leaders in integrated marketing communications, Ruder Finn, recently announced the arrival of several important senior hires into major business roles. Rowan Benecke will be joining Ruder Finn as a Chief Growth Officer in September, bringing more than 25 years of experience into the fold. Rowan will be responsible for leading global growth strategies throughout the agency, including options for business development, strategic partnership and the development of client relationships.
Rowan brings a long history of successes and an impressive record with blue-chip clients to his new position in Ruder Finn, including connections with Lenovo, Oracle, Vodafone and many other major brands.
LEWIS Celebrates East Coast Growth
A rapidly-growing integrated communications agency with presence across the globe, Lewis is now celebrating the appointment of four people within their leadership team, helping to build the company’s New York City and Bost offices. Heather Bliss was the first to join the new leadership team as Vice President for Boston. Bliss brings over 2 decades of experience in running integrated communications campaigns into the role. Before working for LEWIS, Bliss also held roles with PerkettPR and InkHouse.
Other major additions to the LEWIS team include Andrea Dunbeck who will be taking the role of Vice President of the Boston office. Dunbeck has extensive experience in the spaces of B2B integrated marketing and technology. Joel Richman will be joining as the Vice President for Client Engagement for LEWIS. Richman comes to LEWIS from a position with the ExO foundation where he was responsible for marketing and PR. Finally, Abby Berger will be Vice President for the New York Office. Berger comes to LEWIS from a position as deputy lead of B2B practices at MWWPR.
5WPR Hosts the Stand Up for Heroes Event 2018
5W Public Relations announces that they will be responsible for handling the “Stand up for Heroes” event this year, which is set to run in Madison Square on the 5th of November. The highly-commended event features headliners like Seth Meyers, Jon Stewart and even Bruce Springsteen, and is presented by the New York Comedy Festival. The Bob Woodruff Foundation is also involved with the Stand up for Heroes program, which honors wounded veterans and their loved ones.
The consumer lifestyle and entertainment brands of 5WPR are also responsible for representing Caroline Hirsch and NYCF – the founder of both events. The NYCF runs between the fifth and 11th of November and is celebrating its 15 anniversary this year. Acts include Marc Maron, Conan O’Brien and Jim Jeffries.
