Pueblo Memorial Airport, located six miles east of Pueblo, Colorado has issued an advertising RFP. This highly desirable geographic location south of the congested metro areas of Denver and Colorado Springs provides a variety of significant added benefits for those businesses choosing to locate here. They seek an experienced professional advertising company to identify a clear, strong identity for the Pueblo Memorial Airport (Airport) that will reflect the true nature of the Airport and highlight the benefits of visiting and doing business within the Airport area. An advertising and marketing campaign will help instill a sense of pride in and around the Airport. The ultimate goals are to increase passengers in utilizing the local air services, to instill a sense of pride among existing businesses, and to develop the Pueblo Memorial Airport into a prominent airport in the Southern Colorado region. Pueblo is located in the southern half of Colorado along Interstate 25, at the convergence of the Arkansas River and Fountain Creek. Major attractions include the Colorado State Fair and Event Center, Colorado State University-Pueblo, Pueblo Community College, Congressional Medal of Honor Memorial, El Pueblo State Historical Museum, Center for American Values, Historic Arkansas Riverwalk, Pueblo Memorial Hall, Lake Pueblo State Park and Reservoir, Pueblo Zoo, Steelworks Museum, Pueblo Motorsports Park, Runyon Field Baseball Park, and the Sangre de Cristo Arts and Conference Center. Pueblo is also a designated Colorado Certified Creative District. Population: 109,412 (2015 Census) Area in Square Miles: 52.996 (Jan. 2014) Elevation: 4,700 feet Pueblo Memorial Airport is situated six miles east of Pueblo, Colorado, and is the third busiest airport in the state with 170,000 aircraft operations annually. It offers an impressive airfield capable of handling virtually any size aircraft. An advertising and marketing campaign will help instill a sense of pride in and around the Airport. The ultimate goals are to increase passengers in utilizing the local air services, to instill a sense of pride among existing businesses, and to develop the Pueblo Memorial Airport into the most prominent airport in the Southern Colorado region.
