The Harbor Group is located in Washington DC and has extensive experience working with embassies and other countries, as well as helping clients make government connections and providing tourism public relations as needed. The group was formed in 2001. And moved to their current location only a year ago.
A formal engagement agreement was signed by both parties on June 30, 2015, and the agreement lasts for six months, ending December 31, 2015. They will be providing communications consulting services about U.S.-Dominican bilateral relations according to the official paperwork. What that means is they will be helping the Dominican Republic’s Embassy in DC with public relations efforts dealing the U.S. media. They will also help develop a marketing strategy, establish a think tank, and bring in experts to build a better perception of the Dominican Republic with the U.S. government and its citizens.
