Finn Partners Expanding
The formidable Finn Partners has expanded their clout within the industry by way of promotion and big hires. Michael Heinley has been promoted from partner to senior partner, a recognition of his contributions to the Health Practice sector of the company. Heinley joined up with Finn Partners as a part of the New York Health Group in 2016.
Filling in Heinley’s vacant partner role in the New York Health Group will be Ann Hemingway, a former senior vice president at Edelman. Additionally, Joe Hulihan, MD, MS-HP, will now serve as medical and scientific advisor to Finn’s Health Practice. Hulihan was formerly the head of Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen Neuroscience Medical Affairs.
Prosek Partners Handling Wellington Management Co. During Acquisition
Financial PR firm Prosek Partners, also based in New York, is the media handler for Wellington Management Co. In January, it was announced that Bristol-Myers Squibb, the largest shareholder of which is Wellington Management Co., would be acquiring Celgene Corporation for cash and stocks. Wellington has opposed this acquisition, worth $90B, and is encouraging Bristol-Myers Squibb to explore other options. Prosek Partners will be assisting Wellington Management Co. with their PR needs throughout this transition, which goes to a shareholder vote in April.
AeBeZe Taps MWWPR for App Launch
With the rise in digital services to reach consumers, it’s no surprise to see companies such as AeBeZe Labs cropping up. AeBeZe Labs is the first solely digital pharmaceutical company in the world. To coincide with this moniker, AeBeZe is launching Moodrise, the first Digital Nutrition™ app, and has hired MWWPR to head up the launch efforts.

Aquaculture brand Trū Shrimp has hired Padilla to handle its marketing and communication efforts after a competitive business review. Padilla will also be involved with product naming and packaging. Trū Shrimp’s model of producing shrimp safely and in a sustainable manner will be a key factor in communications and strategy for consumer education and environmental awareness efforts.
BerlinRosen Moves into Bigger Space
New York-based PR firm BerlinRosen is also expanding, in this instance physically. The firm will be relocating to a 24,500 square foot space on Maiden Lane.
