The Miami Social Media Strategies Summit will take place June 12-14, at the Miami Beach Resort, 4833 Collins Ave. The summit targets CEOs, CMOs, chief branding officers, marking and public relations professionals, social media strategists, community marketers, bloggers and more. It is organized by the Global Strategic Management Institute (GSMI) a leader in the industry of executive education, creating conferences, summits, workshops and training sessions that combine rich learning environments with the opportunity to network with today’s most relevant thought- leaders, speakers and practitioners. There have already been two Social Media Strategies Summits in Las Vegas and Chicago this year, with speakers from brands such as Warner Bros., Dunkin’ Donuts, McDonalds, Weather Channel, NCAA, Intel and Cisco. The summit in Miami follows the trend, with stellar speakers including Nicole German from LinkedIn; Cristina Alfaro of McDonald's USA; Craig Agranoff from CBS 12; Christina Gonzalez from Verizon Wireless; and so on. Public participants will learn how to optimize company Facebook presence; utilize Twitter to communicate with customers; increase search engine optimization; use social media promotions to engage; leverage word of mouth marketing; engage brand loyalists and dissatisfied customers; and take advantage of the many social media platforms. Through hands-on workshops, case studies and keynotes, this Miami event will provide attendees with emerging strategies, tactics and the top do’s and don’ts of social media marketing.
