Auto PR: Who are the Top Automotive Public Relations Agencies

There are many Automotive PR firms vying for business, but the job requires campaigns offering substantial, up to date, automotive experiences to keep up with the growing and ever-changing industry. An industry that looks forward to soon including self-driving cars and more green options.


We’ve gone searching and have found several great Automotive PR firms for those in or connected to the industry. These firms are currently at the top of their game.

Bianchi PR

Based out of Troy, Michigan, Bianchi PR was founded in 1992 and has an impressive resume of awards. In 2014, the agency was named “one of the Top 10 Automotive Public Relations Firms” and continues to grow. Some of their clients include BASF, 3M Automotive, Yanfeng Automotive Interiors, Johnson Controls and Cooper Standard. Their clients tend to stay with them long-term, usually 10 or more years.


Eisbrenner PR

Eisbrenner PR promotes quality customer service with strong development as well as nurturing client relationships. Their office is in Royal Oak Michigan, and they’ve been open since 1985. They are a member of IPREX Global PR network giving them access to global support when needed. Some of their clients include Bosch, Axle Tech International, Henniges Automotive, Motus, and Michigan Science Center.

Kahn Media brands itself as “not just another Automotive Agency” and part of that is Kahn’s multimedia approach. They are located in Moorpark, California, and they provide the strategy, manpower, and relationships for brands to connect with consumers. Some of their clients include Black Rhino, Petersen Automotive Museum, Vintage Air, Trans Dapt, and CR Supercars.

With their press release, they highlight their integration of PR with other forms of art. V12 PR

Based out of London and founded in 2000, V12 specializes in high-end automotive PR with French motorsport constructor ORECA, renowned sportscar manufacturer Lotus Cars, and Japanese automaker Suzuki. Their business model includes flexible budgets that suit client’s personalized concerns and requirements that primarily work in international markets. V12 stresses, more than anything, a personalization of each and every client’s needs.

Some of their clients include Vitis PR, Robert L. Turner, Cummins UK, and Honour Motorsport. V12 is a full-service PR and communications firm offering all the usual PR options as well as specializing in event planning and marketing, strategic counseling, and social media expertise.


Max Layne

Out of Detroit, Max Layne is an international automotive PR agency for companies in America, Japan, and Germany. Their niche is not necessarily full automobiles, but also for the manufacturers of parts. “Our expertise includes work for OEMs, Tier-one/Tier-two component suppliers and logistics companies, to tooling and niche metal cutting shops, engineering and technology companies, to turnaround management firms and automotive retailers (both OE and aftermarket).”

Lambert Edwards

Like Marx Layne, Lambert Edwards has a niche with the behind the scenes manufacturing of parts. In 2009, Lambert Edwards acquired John Bailey & Associates and together has become a formidable force in Michigan’s Automotive PR industry. They employ more than 50 professionals and have offices in Lansing, Detroit, and Grand Rapids. Some of their clients include Spartan Motors, North American International Auto Show, Two Men and a Truck, Inventure Foods, and Huron Capital Partners.
