French/West/Vaughan Announces Major Staff Reshuffle
Exciting times lay ahead for French/West/Vaughan (FWV), as the southeast’s leading PR agency strengthens its dynamic team with no less than six new faces through the door this month. As part of its workforce reshuffle, FWV also announced four internal staff promotions.
First through the door is the welcome addition of Joselyn Williams as the agency’s new vice president. Jocelyn, who will take responsibility for FWV’s Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) and CIAA accounts, brings with her more than 20 years of expertise in the corporate and sports event marketing realm, having previously worked with the Michael Jordan Foundation of the Carolinas and the Sara Lee Corporation.
Also joining FWV is Amy Ackerman, who will take on an account supervisor role in order to provide support to FWV’s food & beverage, finance and lifestyle sector clients. Amy previously worked as a client services manager with CBS Interactive/CNET in New York, working alongside prestigious clients such as Target and General Motors.
South Dakota State University alumna Tara Trask also signed up with FWV this month, assuming the role of account executive with the company, where she will work to support clients such as Justin Brands, Pendleton Whisky and Wrangler Western. A former Miss Rodeo South Dakota, Tara is clearly much more than just a pretty face, bringing with her a wealth of experience in the production and management, PR and social media/digital fields from her time with the Sutton Rodeo Company and the Black Hills Stock Show.
Other newcomers at FWV this month include Charlotte Rollins as senior media planner, Lauren Towns as account coordinator, and Andrew Harrell as digital content producer.
All the new talent signing up for FWV this month has given the agency plenty of scope for an organizational reshuffle which involves no less than four promotions for existing staff members.
FWV’s new social media manager Scott Palmer assumes the role having been promoted from his position as account executive within the firm. As part of his new role, Scot will lead FWV’s strategic planning for social media campaigns across the agency, including prestigious clients such as Wrangler Mass and Western brands, Riders by Lee and Hood River Distillers.
Agency stalwart Katie Johnson has also earned a well-deserved promotion, moving up to the account supervisor role where she will manage the day-to-day PR and marketing initiatives of clients including Justin Boot Company, Tony Lama Boots, Nocona Boots and Justin Original Workboots.
Elsewhere in the agency, Caitlin Vargas and Lauren Bristol have both been made assistant account executives, where they will provide support in the integration and execution of PR and social media campaigns for a variety of FWV clients.
