MONA Creative is a marketing and public relations agency founded in 2015 by Ilana Alperstein and Eva Karagiorgas. In under five years, the firm built a national book across restaurants, hospitality, food, and lifestyle — a category where operator credibility inside the room matters as much as media reach.
Leadership
Eva Karagiorgas trained at Le Cordon Bleu in Paris before running brand strategy at Food Republic as Director of Marketing and Director of Integrated Marketing at Bon Appétit. Earlier agency work included Nike, Delta Air Lines, and Clairol at Ogilvy, Grey, and Wieden+Kennedy. She also launched the food category at Gilt Groupe.
Ilana Alperstein brings the public relations and hospitality side. Prior to MONA Creative, she was Vice President at Baltz & Company, a New York New York PR firm, and led strategic work at Morgans Hotel Group and BMG Entertainment.
How MONA Creative works
The firm's model is a multidisciplinary team wrapped around a single strategic plan for each client — brand development, marketing strategy, public relations, content, events, social, digital, and crisis communications, delivered as one integrated engagement rather than a menu of siloed retainers.
Client roster
MONA Creative's book is concentrated in food, hospitality, and lifestyle:
Restaurants and food: Olmstead, Dandelion Chocolate, the Derschang Group, Waveland, Snake River Farms, Eclipse Foods, Miyoko's Creamery, Republic of Booza.
Publishing:Joy of Cooking; Women on Food by Charlotte Druckman; Lindsay Maitland Hunt.

Lifestyle and consumer: Fox Fodder Farm, Jenni Kayne, Maev.
Bottom line
MONA Creative is a strong shortlist option for restaurants, hospitality brands, cookbooks and food-media authors, and lifestyle consumer brands looking for a fully integrated marketing and PR partner.
