Overit Expands with Lisa Barone Appointment and Brayton Graphics Acquisition

Updated June 14, 2026. Originally published September 2012.

Overit expanded its creative staff with the hiring of content and social marketing leader Lisa Barone, along with the acquisition of Brayton Graphics, an award-winning boutique design and development firm.

As vice president of strategy, Barone led Overit's marketing consulting, social media and content divisions and served on the agency's senior staff. Media outlets including Forbes, Yahoo, Businessweek and Inc. recognized Barone for her work in social media, marketing and content strategy. Prior to joining Overit, Barone served as chief branding officer for the company she co-founded, Outspoken Media.

"Integrated strategies that tie SEO, social, content and motion into a single, unified message put clients ahead of competitors, while respecting dollars. The success of Overit continues to be based in that achievement. I'm excited to join a team so rich in creative excellence and the belief that boundaries are meant to be broken, and I look forward to building on that record." — Lisa Barone

The Brayton Graphics acquisition added more talent to Overit's design and development team. Elizabeth Delos founded Brayton Graphics in 2006 and worked for Capital Region brands like the Center for Economic Growth, Northeast Parent & Child Society and Mazzone Hospitality, winning The Business Review's 40 under 40 Award in 2010. As a member of Overit's senior staff, Delos joined as director of client services.

"This agreement significantly strengthens both organizations' abilities to represent Fortune 1000 brands and emerging companies at the local, state and national levels. With the completion of its acquisition of Portfolio PR Group in January, Overit now has the region's most skilled divisions for marketing, public relations, advertising and social media services."

Dan Dinsmore, CEO and president of Overit, said:

"[Lisa's] leadership will be instrumental in furthering our client's success. Likewise, Liz and her team share the same quality of design and development in their portfolio as we do. We are gaining an incredible team of proven talent, not to mention Liz's leadership and client strategy."

Overit Status (2026)

Overit, founded in 1993 by Dan Dinsmore, remains an active and award-winning full-service marketing agency headquartered in a renovated Spanish monastery-style church at 435 New Scotland Ave in Albany, NY. The agency operates with roughly 40 staff across design, development, video production, content, PR and digital marketing. Dinsmore continues as CEO. Lisa Barone, who joined as VP of Strategy in 2012, was promoted to Chief Marketing Officer in 2018 and continues in a senior brand role at the agency. Overit is at overit.com.
