Howard Rubenstein and the Rubenstein Public Relations Dynasty
Howard Rubenstein (1932–2020) built one of the defining American PR operations from his parents' Brooklyn apartment in 1954 — a sixty-six-year arc representing Mayors Koch, Giuliani and Bloomberg, Rupert Murdoch, George Steinbrenner, Fred Trump, and a roll call of New York civic and commercial power. His sons Steven and Richard now run separate firms carrying the family name into the second generation.
