French/West/Vaughan Announces Six New Hires & Three Promotions
North Carolina powerhouse PR firm French/West/Vaughan (FWV) has just announced six new hires and three promotions. The news from the firm is as follows:
Dan Strickford now joins FWV as group account director. Strickford brings with him a vast experience including his work at ID Public Relations (Los Angeles), where he led the development of several PR programs and executed strategic planning for consumer brands, that included: Netflix, Neutrogena, Darden, Spanx and Mercedes-Benz. Strickford is a graduate of Georgetown University.
FWV has also hired a new account supervisor, Spencer Harrison, who will be involved in strategic planning, day-to-day account management and program implementation for various national and local clients. Prior to joining FWV, Harrison was at Hill & Knowlton (Los Angeles), Ketchum Public Relations (Los Angeles) and Edelman Public Relations (Atlanta and Chicago).
Adding yet another account executive, FWV brought on board Liz Moy to be involved in supporting several agency client social media and PR needs. Some of the clients she will engage with are; Tweetsie Railroad, O2 Fitness and Polar Ice House. Moy was previously with Gibbs & Soell Business Communications.
Jonathan McDill will join FWV’s digital department as front-end developer. Before coming to the NC firm, McDill was at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary’s IT Department, where he was instrumental in developing web, maintenance, and customization protocols for the institution.
Anna Holland joins FWV as digital account coordinator. The North Carolina State grad was formerly a marketing coordinator for Syncfusion, Inc. in Morrisville, N.C., where she managed social media strategy, production and writing of marketing materials for the company. Morgan Gaines is a graduate of The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He will be an account coordinator supporting the integrated marketing team, as well as several FWV accounts. Gaines was formerly an intern at the Wasserman Media Group, LLC and International Management Group (IMG).
FWV also congratulates Jay Wisse after his promotion to SVP. Wisse leads the agency’s Sports and Entertainment Practice, one of FWV core costituencies. Wisse works closely with some of sport’s most noted athletes including; running back Arian Foster of the Houston Texans, Detroit Lions safety Glover Quin, Glen “Big Baby” Davis of the Orlando Magic, as well as several other agency clients.
Finally, Leah Knepper and Shannon Burton have been promoted to the position of group account director. While Knepper continues to support FWV travel and tourism clients, Burton will manage PR and social media for fashion and retail clients.
